The "UNIVERSAL" text is in metallic gold and the Van Allen belts are missing. Specifically designed for 3D, the space background is still and both the globe and company name zoom in towards the screen.Jaws 3-D and Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn (both 1983): The logo fades into a picture of its starting point.Plus, there is a new version of the 1936 fanfare composed by James Horner. Exactly the same as The Sting and The Brink's Job.The music changes to different styles (respectively: early jazz, 1940s swing, 1970s pop rock, and a Star Wars-esque fanfare) as the objects appear. As the opening credits roll, the globe remains on screen and a succession of increasingly modern flying machines (four-engine airliner, Concorde, flying saucer) emerge from behind the Earth.
